So quite a while ago, Im talking like a few years ago I got my very first sleek palette and it was the storm palette, now mine is very well loved and I can say I've used all of the colours apart from two, so I thought I'd show you how I use the two colours, but while keeping is simple. This is quite a dark eye look so is great for a night out.

The two colours I'm using are a deep brown with some maroon shimmer in, and then a pale pinky beige colour.
1. Prime the eye lid.
2. Use a black eye shadow and cover the lid lightly with it, this is going to be our base colour, I know it seems weird using a black but trust me it really makes the shimmer in the brown/maroon colour really stand out.
3. Now take the the brown/maroon colour and put this all over the black, focusing most of the colour at the base of the lashes, don't forget to sweep some of this colour under the lashes.
4. Take a light matte brown and blend this into the crease this just helps to soften the look.
5. Now it's time to highlight, take the light pink colour and place some in the inner eye and the inner part of the lower lash line.
6. This picture looks really scary I know , but take a black khol pencil and line the lower water line and also along the top as well this just really helps to finish off the look and make the lashes look thicker and eyes look bigger.
7. This is the last step, it's time to sort out those lashes, curl your lashes then add a lengthening mascara, I then like to add a layer of a volumising mascara, you don't have to do this but I just think really dark volumised lashes really work with this look.
And that's it your look is done, I really like this look as it's something different to just a black smokey eye, and it can be done super fast for any of those spontaneous nights out.
